23rd - Some Memories author Andrew Means will be at Velma Teague Libraryto give a talk & book signing on Sat. Aug 23rd at 2 p.m. Andrew's book is an excellent
book recounting Marty's twin sister Maime's memories of their childhood.

September 26th, 2008 will be Marty's 83rd Birthday.
Though Marty is no longer with us we have made arrangements with
A Shot of Java for a music celebration in Marty Robbins Plaza on that evening,
Friday September 26th, 2008 To Honor Marty's Music & Memory.
